Don’t Play The Victim Card…

Responsibility is not inherited  it is a choice that everyone needs to make at some point in their life. With great power comes great responsibility. Leadership is about taking responsibility. Not making excuses. The price of greatness is personal responsibility. Responsibility is an overrated virtue. Responsibility always finds a way. Irresponsibility makes excuses! Accept responsibility for your actions. Be accountable for your results. Take ownership of your mistakes. If you realize your responsibility, you will realize your destiny.   You can not change your circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. Personal responsibility is fundamental for personal growth.  Practice self-control. Be accountable for your choices. Do your best to keep trying. Finish what you begin. You can not escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.

The final forming of a person’s character lies in their own hands. If you take responsibility for yourself you will develop a hunger to accomplish your dreams. We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future.  Rank does not confer privilege or give power. It imposes responsibility. Whatever happens, take responsibility!

Personal responsibility is not only recognizing the errors or our ways. Personal responsibility lies in our willingness and ability to correct those errors individually and collectively.  Being honest, open, and reliable. Being efficient and share best practices. Use resources wisely. Looking at the big picture. Making things happen. Look to make improvements. Having a ‘can do’ attitude and go the extra mile. Learn from mistakes. Deal appropriately to difficult situations.  Take personal responsibility. You’re free to do whatever you want, but you should always take responsibility for the consequences of your life choices.

“In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die and the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.”

“It’s not my fault, it’s theirs!” Seriously? No excuses!

Duty, obligation, reliable, commitment, ownership, answerable, liable, accountability, responsibility.
